Meet Dr. Ileana Larrauri Cavanagh

Dr. Ileana Larrauri Cavanagh is a lifetime resident of Monmouth County. She grew up in Shrewsbury Boro and attended Red Bank Catholic High School. Knowing at an early age that she wanted to be an orthodontist, she enrolled in the 7-year dental program at Villanova University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). Following dental school, she completed a three year Specialty Residency in Orthodontics at UMDNJ. During her Orthodontic Residency Program she also earned a Master of Science degree (M.S.) in Oral Biology.

Dr. Cavanagh is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. She is also an active member of the following organizations: American Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, the MidAtlantic Society of Orthodontics, the New Jersey Association of Orthodontics, New Jersey Dental Association, and the Monmouth-Ocean County Dental Society. Dr. Cavanagh is also a certified Invisalign® provider.

Since starting the practice in the spring of 2000, Dr. Cavanagh has enjoyed getting to know her patients and their families. She is very much looking forward to the future and the wonderful relationships she will develop.

In addition to practicing orthodontics, Dr. Cavanagh enjoys spending time with her husband, Joe and two children, Cassandra and Owen. They enjoy working on home remodeling projects, gardening, biking, hiking, and watching movies.

 

Meet Colleen and Toni Ann

Colleen and Toni Ann will greet you when you arrive to our office. Their warm, friendly personalities and dental knowledge will make your experience at Colts Neck Orthodontics a pleasant one.

Colleen is our clinical assistant. She is a Registered Dental Assistant. The professional training Colleen has received allows her to assist Dr. Cavanagh so that we may provide our patients with quality care in an efficient manner. Colleen is also licensed with the State of New Jersey to take your dental x-rays. To stay current and knowledgeable about advancements in dentistry Colleen continues her training by taking Continuing Dental Education courses.

Toni Ann is our administrative assistant. Her organization skills and years of patient care experience allow us to make your visit to Colts Neck Orthodontics comfortable and effortless. Toni Ann will help you schedule your appointments – we value your time and make every effort to stay on schedule. Should you have any billing or insurance questions, Toni Ann will be more than happy to assist you. To add a smile to your face, Toni Ann also runs our office contests and loves to decorate for the holidays and seasons.
